I'm building some cabinets on a budget and figured I'd try to cut a corner with these and I'm very happy I did. No instructions included, but thankfully, they were the same as the last hinges I installed, so I didn't have to adjust y jig. The quality is just as good as more expensive hinged and the soft-close works perfectly.Very easy to install and plenty adjustable enough so even a hack like me to get the doors straight. Highly recommend.I needed several hinges for some shop cabinets and I couldn't justify the cost of my favorite name brand (starts with a "B") hinge. The only significant disadvantages I found were:1) There is no vertical adjustment for the doors, as you would find in more expensive hinges. This is not surprising for a hinge produced at this price point.2) Fit and finish, although excellent, is not at the same aesthetic level as the more expensive hinges. However, they are very well made and consistent in quality.3) Adjustments, particularly lateral adjustment on the doors, seem loose and will probably move over time. Some releasable thread locker (e.g. blue "Loctite") would be appreciated on these screws.3) No instructions!This last point sounds like a minor issue, but it isn't. Every European style hinge out there has a very specific optimum offset for the mounting holes on the cabinet side. Since no instructions are provided, this needs to be determined by trial and error with the front-to-back adjustment of the hinge set to its center point. Do not try to figure this out with your actual door - use a test piece! I found that the offset from the front of the cabinet to the two holes furthest back on the hinge plate should be 37 to 38 mm. Once you know this, it is easy to mark the vertical center of the slotted holes (with the hinges mounted on the door) on the inside of the cabinet. Set a combination square to mark the 38 mm depth, then the intersection of the slotted hole center marks with the 38 mm mark will indicate the drilling center.The hinge cups use a 1-3/8" Forstner bit. Positioning of the the cup hole is dependent on the exact amount of overlay required and the door thickness, so this needs to be determined for each use case. For 3/4" nominal plywood doors, a 22 mm offset is a good starting point to try with your test piece.I gave this product an overall five stars because it is hard to beat the quality and features provided at this price point; docked one point for easy to install due to lack of instructions, and one point on sturdiness for not providing thread locker on the lateral adjustment screws.The self closing mechanism appears to function well. However, for high-end installations (custom kitchens, bathrooms), in my opinion, these are not a replacement for the better name hinges available and the savings are not justifiable. The lack of instructions is inexcusable - an internet link would be perfectly acceptable, and would save on paper.Once installed, these hinges are fantastic. Quiet, soft clsoing and sturdy. Getting them installed right took a little bit of research and practice. The instructions on the packaging are vague. That's the only reason for the 4 stars.Awesome product, hope the soft close function will lastThese were an exact fit to the original hinges. Slow closing and quiet. Multiple adjustment screws to align cabinets properly. Was able to change out for our entire house. Can use one hinge per cabinet door based on your choice of closing rate.First off, I am far from a professional, hobbyist at best. I made doors for a tall bookshelf and needed some hinges. I have to say, despite the lack of instructions, I am pretty impressed with these hinges. I had bought name-brand hinges at the big box store a few months back for some other doors I made for my bathroom vanity. While they worked good for the most part (and came with instructions), the adjustment screws and the screws for attaching them stripped so easy, even though I was trying to be super careful.These hinges seem to be durable and I was able to make my adjustments without fear of any of the screws stripping. I also removed the doors several times to make adjustments and to paint them and those screws also endured my repeated removal and attaching. Since these do not come with instructions, I attached a photo of the measurements I used (don't mind the chipped-out wood from my cheap bit). My project used 3/4" wood and I used scrap boards to practice on and figure out my measurements. I would recommend practicing on some scrap before using them on your project, so you don't mess up your pretty things. If I ever needed them again, I would definitely get these. They are better than what I bought at that big blue store and a WAY better price.I've used similar hinges in the past that required a gap left between the back of the door and the face of the cabinet, and also had less adjustability. These hinges allow for the door to be flush with the cabinet face without any interference when opening the door. They also allow for adjustment in all directions.These are exactly what I expected, and work great. My only wish is that they had a similar soft stop feature near their max opening angle; I haven't seen that on other hinges though either, so no compliant here. It can just be a bit jarring when they suddenly hit that stopping point with a door that wants to keep going.I built some huge (2ft x 8ft) cabinet doors out of 4/4 poplar and 1/4" MDF, and each door came out to about 20 lbs, so I went with 4 hinges per door. That worked great, and they feel plenty secure. The 3-way adjustment was a life-saver on those big doors and with my lack of experience.These worked well for the 4/4 poplar, and the 3/4" plywood cabinet walls. I set these up with a full or near full overlay, and they work great, even right up against the wall. The hardest part about this install was finding straight boards that long to build the doors out of. I also definitely recommend installing a hinge on some scrap pieces first to test and dial things in.Just over a year and a half ago we purchased a relatively new home that had soft close drawers but not hinges. At first I was a little apprehensive about the quality and durability of these hinges given the very reasonable price so I only ordered a few to test them out first. I was very impressed with the hinges so went ahead and replaced all 110 cupboard door hinges. I held off writing a review fearing that, given the reasonable price, they would start to fail ..But, 14 months later, after much use and abuse, in a busy family home not one hinge has failed. I have no hesitation recommending these hinges .. Great value, Great Product!!Not the strongest backing plates. They do have quick release but not such quick put back on. The adjustment is not super smooth or easy to turn. Not blumn. But they do work and the self closing is soft. Better hinges let the door get closer to closed before taking over. Once Installed they seemed to work well and time will tell how they hold up.Bought a 50 pack to replace the older hinges in our kitchen. Expected to get some cheaply built hinges like I've bought on Amazon before, however these hinges are well built, with 3 way adjustments like you would find on expensive Blum hinges.I am a finish carpenter who runs my own business and has, among other things, installed approx 50 mid to high end kitchens. In other words, I know a good hinge when I see it. Will be ordering more of these to put into my stock for future use.Replaced all the kitchen door hinges with this, to get away from a banging sound everytime a door closes to a soft closing. It is fairly good quality. It did require some extra work as the holes from our previous hinges were slightly larger than these, so we ended up using some toothpicks for the gaps.Regarding delivery, it was delivered pretty quickly (I think around a week), although an import deposit of about 13$ was charged. I wish they continue making these for some time, as they are definitely good quality for a reasonable price.Pro's- Excellent Fair price for soft/easy close hinges- Good quality at this price point- Works wellCon's- The screw in latch hole is very small, Compared to the ones I replaced. The plate that the hinge attaches to is a small screw hole and requires a thin small screw. It only works ideal for new installs, or existing same type replacement. My set up uses thick screws that screw into the tray holder holes.
