I came across this dehydrated food after our dog went crazy for Honest Kitchen's Cod Crisps with Strawberries treats. I was unsure how this product would work. It's pricey to feed exclusively. We are having success with using it along with dry food. Our dog is a bit picky and seemed bored with dry food and sometimes wouldn't eat. We added this and, even after a couple of weeks, he eats almost every meal now. It is easy to prepare and he gets very excited when we start preparing his breakfast and dinner! We prepare 1/4 cup of the freeze dried food and add it to 1 cup of dry food for each meal. We started with a smaller sized box of the beef flavor to see how he would like it. Since this has been a hit, I plan to get the 10lb box and also try some other flavors to provide our dog with some variety. Using only 1/4 cup per meal should make the box last for several weeks, keeping the cost down. I'm really happy with this product so far and love that it is human grade and limited ingredients.
