It is very difficult to cut making trimming around light plate switches and plugs difficult. I used close to 50 knife blades to trim these tile. I found cutting the face of the tile easier than the adhesive side. You just need to be careful that you don't mar the surface. The adhesive sticks fairly well but a few places the tile did not stick real well. It is a cheap alternative to ceramic tile but it might be the same amount of work. Would I do it again???? Probably not. It does look good on the wall! There should be edging offered to cover where the tile end. No matter how hard I tried I could not get right to the edge of my kitchen cupboards. Thus border edging would be nice. Don't be fooled by how easy they make it look cutting the tile. IT'S HARD unless somebody knows as an easier way.Based on reading the other reviews on similar stick-on tiles these are better in quality as it actually looks like real tiles as opposed to the thinner ones in the market which looks more like a wallpaper.Hard to cut at first but if you cut the front side (tile side) using a sharp knife and pop it outward with the front side facing you it is must easier and the cut line seemed to be very straight (just from my experience).Great product overall!Even though I e ded up returning because it didn't go well with what I have. Overall all the product was exactly like what they mentioned and easy to install and overall a great product I'd reccomend! The appearance of these tiles is great. They look better in person.I got the marble looking one. I pulled out one sheet and emmediately. Asked for a refund! It feels like it's made with sand paper! And it looks so incredibly cheap. So nope not even going to try and make it look good
